Pansy Shells and Sea Dollars

I love Pansy Shells.

(image via pinterest)

These are called Sand Dollars and are more like a flattish Sea Urchin than the flat Pansy Shells you find on the East Coast of South Africa. I tenderly carried a collection of these shells wrapped in tissue paper and stored in an empty water bottle all the way home from Thailand.

I have been toying with the idea having a small tattoo, small like a thumb nail, of a Pansy Shell in white ink done, just below my ankle……just toying.
