Felix Baumgartner – Space Dive

Frailwords

“up, up and away in my beautiful, my beautiful balloon”

I continue to be astounded by Felix Baumgartner’s achievement. More so than I can remember being flabbergasted by man landing on the moon. Maybe it was to do with the fact we, in South Africa,  could only hear the moon landing, (no TV), and then saw photographs later, whereas this was a moment by moment journey with him as he plummeted through space.
